Hi! My name is Nayla! I am an aspiring instructional designer and currently a middle school English teacher with 8 years of experience in the field. I’m a lifelong learner who focuses on quality of life improvement, sharing knowledge, and the art of learning experiences.
I started this website originally as a blog 10 years ago as a way to express my every day lifestyle, share my journey about becoming a teacher and sharing resources. I used to share my recipes, photography, knowledge about language and pedagogy, and Poshmark.
For a while, I abandoned this blog due to the life circumstances, but I’ve come back several years later to continue to add to it. This time, I’ve got loads of experiences in teaching, learning methodology opinions, resources for teachers, technology trends, additions to my lifestyle page, and much more to share with you! I’m currently aspiring to become an instructional designer and to gain certification in project management.
I hope that you find something in my website that you enjoy or find useful! Follow me in my journey to a career transition from teacher to instructional design or other! It is my joy to create, to discuss, and to share the little pleasures in my everyday life!
